Privacy Policy
This policy explains what AppSpark collects, who else touches it, and how you stay in control. The short version: we collect what we need to make and publish your posts, we do not sell it, and you can delete it.
1. What we collect
Account details. Your name, email address and password hash when you sign up, and your plan and billing status. Card details go straight to our payment provider and never touch our servers.
Your app. The link you paste and the public content we read from that page, or the description you type instead, plus the answers you give about tone and audience.
Your content. The hooks, slides, captions and hashtags generated for you, your edits, the templates you pick, the photos you upload and the rendered images we produce.
Connected social accounts. If you connect TikTok or Instagram, the access token the platform gives us, your account name and ID, and basic performance numbers for the posts we publish, such as views and likes.
Usage and device data. Pages visited, features used, rough location from your IP address, browser and device type, and error logs. We use this to keep the service working and to understand what is worth improving.
2. How we use it
To read your app and write posts about it, to render the slides, to publish posts you have approved on the schedule you set, to show you how those posts performed, to draft the next batch based on what worked, to bill you, to answer support requests, and to keep the service secure. We also send product emails about your account, and you can opt out of anything that is not essential.
3. AI providers
The text in your posts is written by third-party AI models. To do that we send those providers your app's description, the tone and audience you picked, and any post you ask to be rewritten. We do not send your name, email or payment details. Our providers process this data to return a result and under their own terms, which do not allow them to use it to train their models. We do not train models of our own on your content.
4. Stock photos
When a post uses a free stock photo, we search Pexels for it. That search contains keywords drawn from your post, not your identity. Pexels' own privacy policy covers what they do with search requests.
5. Social platforms
When you connect an account, TikTok or Instagram gives us a token that lets us publish on your behalf and read basic stats. We store it encrypted and use it only for the posts you approve. Disconnecting an account in the app deletes the token. What happens to a post once it is on a platform is governed by that platform's privacy policy.
6. Who else sees your data
We use trusted companies to host the service, store files, send email, take payments, run the AI models, search stock photos and publish to social platforms. Each receives only what it needs for its job and may not use it for anything else. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers. We may disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect our users or the service.
7. Cookies
We use a small number of first-party cookies to keep you signed in and to remember settings, and privacy-friendly analytics to count visits. We do not run advertising trackers on the website.
8. How long we keep it
Your account and content stay for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete your content, uploaded photos and social tokens within 30 days, keeping only what we must for tax and legal records. Backups roll off within a further 30 days. Logs are kept for up to 90 days.
9. Your rights and choices
You can see, export and correct your data in the app, disconnect any social account, and delete your account entirely. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask us for a copy of your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to complain to a data protection authority. Email us and we will help.
10. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access inside the company is limited to people who need it, and social tokens are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever discover a breach that affects you, we will tell you promptly.
11. Children
AppSpark is for adults running an app or business. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
12. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy as the product changes and will email you or show a notice in the app about changes that matter. The date at the top tells you when it was last revised.
